What is success? For all, men and women, it is living your life’s purpose embracing joy and resilience as you do. Happiness empowers the successful woman and it is joy that is affected by decisions they make.
Decision #1 They do not downsize their dreams
Decision #2 They focus, not on the problems, but on solutions
Decision #3 They focus on authenticity
Decision #4 They choose to be brave over fear
Decision #5 Their relationships, wisely chosen, are intentionally nurtured
Decision #6 They choose to grow from feedback chosen actively
Decision #7 They find their purpose and vision and support both with daily action.
Being conscious of their decisions, allows women to think in their own way using they decision makingskills they work on to be strong, to be brave, and to EXPAND!
You don’t believe in yourself! If you focus on what others think and expect of you, you will continue to act on and attract more of what they desire for you. Shift your inner thoughts to what YOU intend to create and attract into your life, you will then save your mental energy to what you want for you and not what others expect from you. Networking is not easy but if you can focus on you and what you want for your life while doing what you can to help others be successful in their ventures, you will find what you want! CONNECT and see!
Conundrums are fun! Do we become confident because of fun or do we have fun with confidence? And this is not just for women and girls…it is for everyone! I am confident, most of the time. I am not confident some of the time. Sometimes it is because of competence or a lack of it in whatever action I am attemptingto take. Success is often talked about in terms of relationships, reputation, results, and resilience. It would be great if we could just feel competence at any level and then take the level of confidence that corresponds to it as we are all learners at every level of life. There is so much talk of “feminine energy”, “girl power”, and more, but, you know what, men are just as lacking in competence and confidence. It is not a tribal movement, it is a people movement; I just feel with my AWW Ageless Women of Wisdom that being female I am most qualified to work with, converse with, and retreat with women! Men find their voice most times with men, and women most times find their voice with women. Many things to be let go of: a need to be understood, anxiety, stress, low self esteem–It is all self worth–men and women. And covering one gap at a time works, let’s not try to solve everything at once. What I am trying to say is you are who you are…BE who you are to start a transition!
Butterflies. White Butterflies pure and simple. Butterflies trust throughout their life cycles. They are the epitome of faith. And we do not even know if they know. We know they cannot see their wings when they arrive, but we can. What we do know is that butterflies are the symbol of transformation. They are transforming their physical being and their purpose in life.
Interesting, isn’t it?
A simple creature has such a major transformation; and yet, we as much more complex beings, we are complex beings who many times do not know what our purpose is. We struggle trying to identify our mission in life. We are trying to find our higher calling, and we feel resistance all the time because where we are we have control. We may be unhappy where we are, but we “know” where we are. To change is to let go of control to transform.
What area of your life do you want to transform?
For many, money is one area that we wish would be better, flow more, and be more abundant. We already know that energy with money reflects energy in our life. But we never seem to have the energy to make the decision to change money in our life, and, if we do decide to change, we may not have the energy to sustain that change successfully.
No one can tell you when you have the energy to begin; no one can tell you how to get that energy to begin or sustain. You will begin with one step to begin, and you do the work. Each step is a success. It is up to you to pay attention to that success because that moment of excellence has been empowered by you. It is not one step to solve all your money issues, to make money flow more, or to create super abundance. One step may be all you need to have the energy to continue to the next step, to do more work, and to feel more success. You begin to feel the energy…
I am here in all I do, as a servant leader in the area of money, to help you find the energy to make the first step. It may be through my blog, through my Facebook offerings, through my website http://www.empowerexcellencewithjan, through my writing. Whatever catches your eye at the time you need my help, I am here to help you find the energy to begin.
This blog is dedicated to the women in my life on Galentine’s Day, February 13th, the celebrating of female friendships the day before the world becomes clogged with Valentine’s Day. For years, Valentine’s Day was big with sweethearts, spouse, and then children, and now grandchildren!
Yes, it goes out to sisters by birth and sisters by choice: Joyce, Marge, Beth, Jane, Vicki, Kass, Mary Jane, Jessica, and more. But it also is the time to celebrate with the more than 70 women across Northeast Ohio who are part of my professional sisterhood and passion through my four, soon to be five, Northeast Ohio Professional Women’s Connection groups. For these are the women I have grown to know and love over more than five years. I salute each and every one of you today and every day…
Many years ago, I had to learn how to network as I was thrown into the public sector in various government positions, and I took to it quite naturally as an extroverted introvert! I actually taught a course at a local community college on the book HOW TO WORK A ROOM… But since then through the formation of a number of nonprofits in a leadership position, I have continued the networking, and five years ago, I was asked to take on the decade old group which became Professional Women’s Connection West (Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and grew to Professional Women’s Connection East (Lake County, Ohio) and then Professional Women’s Connection Lorain County. Now, we are ready with Professional Women’s Connection Medina County.
I am a unique being, and I have learned what to do that is best for me–a God given mandate. As a result of that, the networking groups’ members are all unique and high energy in their own respective ways. There is no competition, only collaboration, through protected industry categories. They each learn to like and then build relationships of trust with each other. They become each others’ sales forces. Most succeed; some who do not make an investment in this business tool do not. The energy of each woman reflects my major life passion: Energy, Money Energy, and being real! It is integrity and authenticity….
I am unafraid to say that I have a gift for brining women together in networking…I have been given a gift, and it is good for me and for all who allow it to be a gift to them. Not every woman is ready, but, if they are, I love the opportunity to help them grow their businesses through really professional networking. Growth continues into Summit County, Ohio in the fall and potentially Geauga County, Ohio in 2020.
so for all…Happy Galentine’s Day…may our paths continue on the road to success and love, my sisters, one and all!
Living your Legacy is by design not default! The plan for a Family Legacy in Financial Wellness is a process that gives the family legacy initiator the power to live your life, and your family to participate in your life, in a mindful, proactive, purposeful, and successful way.
More than that, the Legacy in Financial Wellness provides accountability, financial guidance, and an opportunity to ask the questions, find the answers, and discover your future path.
How does all this happen? Working with families has allowed me to be their coach in creating a Family Legacy in Financial Planning. My energy combined with theirs allows them to create their personal plan all the while using my decades in financial planning to help them achieve what they determine is their “success”.
“Resistance” is a popular word in my world as I work with folks to “Make Money Simple”. Within each of us is a gift that has been with us since birth; that gift becomes hidden in the daily living of life until we say we do not have any special gifts, special talents, unearthed abilities that may remain hidden until death. And that is a shame! It really is because the world, the Universe needs all of us. Resistance happens, many times unconsciously. Resistance is a negative energy that tempts us to go the short-term path rather than the long-term path to success. We can be tempted to go the short-term route no matter if we are artists—writing, music, painting, becoming an entrepreneur, changing our health for the better, finding our spiritual way, overcoming addiction, furthering our education, and, in general, demonstrating our courage—moral, ethical or otherwise! Why do we resist, consciously or unconsciously?
It all goes back to self worth, fear, and more.
Let’s focus on resistance when it comes to money. So many times, when money raises its ugly head, and the goal of my work is to make that happen less and less, we turn our heads and find an easy way to resolve the money issue for the short term, to make ourselves feel better “now”. That is not living in the “now”; that is resistance, avoidance, and more. The bigger issue never gets resolved, and the pain continues over and over again.
What are you resisting “now”, especially with money?
“Make Money Simple” is what I do, and you can make money simple, too. Yes, you can. Face what you might be resisting, and begin in this moment to see how successful you can be in all parts of your life.
