Emerging is a process, and what a lovely process it is. Just like this Dogwood which caught my eye yesterday in Oberlin on an AWE walk, its buds were submerged, hidden, for months, and now it is a glorious tree. It is a cyclical occurence happening in the Spring, the season of its beauty. People can live much of their life submerged with their family, their friends, their work, and more. Sooner or later, many, not all, emerge, and it is always a glorious occasion. So what happens after someone emerges…
