Let’s bring some color to this page today to celebrate the black and white Helena Bonham Carter graphic! Celebrate a woman who shared, and begin to share what you do in all parts of your life so that it can be celebrated.
When Ageless Women Emerging AWE began this year, to me, it was a way to share your life as a woman, and no matter what your age, and your lifelong emergence. It was to look at your life as art: everything you do can be creative. But somewhere along the way many of us stopped thinkingwe were creative because “we were too old”. So wrong, and there is nothing like a community of women like us, no matter the age, who feel that there is more that we need, that we want, and that we say, “what the hell, I am going for it.” And, as important, each of us has a life we can live and SHARE. Each part of our life is not only creative and art, but it is also wisdom that we have learned and continue to learn. This is not stuffy wisdom, this is wisdom that so many other women of all ages need and want. Yes, they want to learn from other women. They are tired of pretending to be what they think they should be…This is their time to be and to live and to share.
There is now a core group of members in AWE, and today “AWE Ageless Women Emerging Group” will begin with that core group of members. It will be closed because this is not only a collaborative group but it is confidential in the sharing. In the future, when the gifts of the group begin to manifest as “group” thoughts, an open group may exist in the current AWE Ageless Women Emerging group…it is all up to the members as we move along through THE SUMMER OF AWE.
The Community of AWE continues today…INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER? A SIMPLE EMAIL does it or a SIMPLE PHONE CALL…I am Jan Litterst, and I look forward to you in our Community 440-670-2252 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Everyone is creative…we came from Creation, and it is in our life plan. We can create life, we can create emotions, we can create thoughts, everyone can create! And you can be creative with money too! Sharing money, giving money away to those in need, feeding people creatively, and you can be so creative in all of this. If you find yourself saying that you are not creative focus on the little everyday things you do and notice the creativity in each motion, each thought, and each word. Money can help you be creative, but you do not need money to be creative. That is why Source gave us a brain, a heart, and a soul. And we are never expected to pay for those gifts. They are ours for creativity our whole life!
If you are feeling that there is more in life that you would like to have, that you are lacking in some area or way of life, do not spend a whole lot of time figuring it out before you take the time to be grateful
Gratitude for the smallest of things not only changes your perspective, but it also gives the Universe the message that you appreciate what life gives you, what Nature provides for you, and who you are as you are. It is a great way to open the door for more to enter your life. Oh, and by the way, after you really feel gratitude, begin to focus on being receptive, not knowing gifts are coming your way but being open to whatever does come your way!
Yes, there are days that I believe I should be given a “time out”, and I wish someone would send me to my room with a blanket and a book. In all honesty, however, someone has to be an adult in a family.
And this is so very true when it comes to money. You can define “kids” any way you want–children, spouses, intruding family members and friends. But there are certain things about money that “kids” don’t need to know. They do not need to know your salary. Why do they need to know your salary! They are kids, and their concept of money may very well have to do with their age. They do not need to know which parent makes more money! If you want to set the stage for crazy thinking, tell a child their mother makes more than their father, or vice versa, and you are asking for trouble down the road when they want to leverage information for their own purposes. They do not need to know what is in your 401k or your investment accounts! As we all know, markets fluctuate, emergencies occur, and kids will keep the biggest number in their minds! You are only asking for trouble! And this one is really “rich”: do not portray any relative, friend, or neighbor as being “rich” or a “deadbeat” or any derisive term dealing with their earning power or status. Kids do repeat the darnedest things. Many of the above mentioned situations can cause or add to family dysfunction. They do not need to know what a gift cost you.
But more than anything, they do not need to know what worries you about money…That is probably most problematic. And you, as the adult, are in charge of worrying!
If someone withholds love, the love can become a tool of hurt. The same can be said about money.
Kahlil Gibran put it very succinctly…”Money is like love; it kills slowly and painfully the one who withholds it and enlivens the other who turns it on his fellow men.”
These are all feelings involved with money and love. It has everything to do with energy; energy needs to be shared, it needs to be acknowledged. And if there are dark feelings involved with money, they will be felt, they need to be felt. But, if there are feelings of light in regard to money, it is a gift of energy, and it also needs to be acknowledged. And, when acknowledged, it needs to be felt in gratitude. And a “thank you” becomes a feeling shared by both the giver and the receiver of the gift!
It is time to find and claim your personal creativity, to claim your gifts!
Daily we express our personal gifts. We are all much more gifted and possess much more imagination that we realize or admit even to ourselves. Others may see that creativity before we do. That creativity is manifested in many ways — take a moment and look into the mirror and begin to list verbally your talents, your creative sources. It is time to find and then use those talents, those gifts, because each of you have unique gifts, talents, and creativity. So,
WHO ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?
TELL IT TO THE MIRROR, TELL IT TO YOURSELF!
Creativity is having a vision and then making it real. Creativity exists everywhere, in all of us, at all times. We are all co-creators with God, and it is time to acknowledge that creativity and take it to the next level!
