Journaling for Joy!

Joy in the Ordinary

Empowering excellence includes many things:  breathing, meditating, sleeping, eating, and more including journaling.  Why “journaling”?

Not only do they tell how people lived and what normal everyday concerns were.  But it also allows us to channel our rage, our anger, our fears, and more in a safe way.  Venting is healthy emotionally and physically.  This is what Pinterest and Facebook are all about:  sharing and venting.  So take a look at how journaling is good for you and for your money!

Think of sitting down and escaping your reality.  Think of it as a snapshot of you in time.  Think of it as therapy without a fee.  Think of it as writing your story, knowing that you can make yourself a hero or heroine at any time.  Think of it as being the victim of any number of bad things that may happen to you.

All of this can help you sleep better.  Take all of those crazy nighttime thoughts that keep you awake and put them down on paper and then close the book on them as you put yourself to sleep.  Or in the morning, get your brain clean for a productive day with words of encouragement only you can provide!

You can awaken your creativity, too.   Write, write, write; get those thoughts out.  Write long journal entries or short–it is all up to you.  You can also vent with kindness or with anger getting the feelings out.

You can organize your life.  Your journal can put down thoughts you have in the shower, in the car, while you pretend to listen to someone else.  Be positive, be negative ONLY here, and smile, cry, share all of your emotions.

And you can journal about your dreams of what the money you know is coming to you can do to change any and all of these feelings.  Work through your money emotions; you can, you know.  Capture those dreams in the morning, and seed those dreams in the evening.  Journaling is what you make it!
