HAVE YOU EVER HAD A MOMENT WHEN ALL SEEMS WELL AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU ARE NOT BREATHING (WE REALLY CAN GO FOR A LONG TIME WITHOUT EVER TAKING A BREATH!)?  YOU ARE SHAKING, TREMBLING, FEELING JUMPY, RESTLESS, DISTRACTED, CANNOT CONCENTRATE?  OR WORSE, YOU FIND YOUR SKIN ITCHING AND YOU JUST CANNOT SIT STILL?  THIS IS TRULY DISCOMFORT, AND IT MAY BE RELATED TO MANY THINGS, BUT FOR THOSE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THEIR MONEY RELATIONSHIP FOR ONE OF DOZENS OF REASONS–MONEY IS VERY PERSONAL–THIS MAY ACTUALLY BE A PANIC OR ANXIETY ATTACK ABOUT MONEY.  THE URGE TO GET AWAY FROM THE CURRENT DISCUSSION ABOUT MONEY IS TOO MUCH TO BEAR.  IT IS NOT PLEASANT TO EXPERIENCE OR TO WATCH!  THIS IS TRULY A SIGN THAT THE MONEY RELATIONSHIP IS OUT OF CONTROL.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO FEEL THE DISCOMFORT IN ORDER TO SEEK HELP.  IT IS MUCH LIKE HAVING A HEART ATTACK…YOU NEED IMMEDIATE MEDICAL HELP.  IT IS ALWAYS MUCH BETTER TO RECOGNIZE THE SYMPTOMS BEFORE YOU HAVE THE ATTACK!

MONEY ANXIETY IS TOTALLY DISCOMFORT!  AT THE FIRST SIGN OF TREMBLING, SHAKING, JUMPINESS, RESTLESSNESS, DISTRACTION, LACK OF CONCENTRATION WHEN YOU ARE DEALING WITH ANYTHING IN REGARD WITH MONEY…STOP, BREATHE, AND THEN TAKE A MOMENT TO ASSESS WHAT HAS JUST HAPPENED AND WHAT WAS THE MONEY SITUATION WHEN THE SYMPTOMS BEGAN.  TAKE A SLOW LOGICAL APPROACH BEFORE ACTING.  SOMETIMES IT IS BEST TO EXCUSE YOURSELF FROM THE CURRENT SITUATION AND TAKE A WALK, TAKE A NAP, ETC.  DO NOT TURN TO AN ADDICTIVE CALMING AGENT…  and then when you have calmed the physical symptoms, begin to consider seeking appropriate help.
